Puji sell a range of alcove units, shelving, freestanding units and bookshelves in teak, oak, walnut and other hardwoods. We offer a good selection of ready built designs, which are available to buy online or from our showroom. In addition to this, all of our pieces can be custom built to your required dimensions, with our made to measure service. We also offer bespoke furniture design, for truly unique pieces.

Floating Shelves

Our floating shelves are made up of solid, thick, tough shelving, held in place with invisible fixings. These offer the perfect solution for both shallow and deep alcoves as well as those that are of an odd shape. Our floating shelves are fully bespoke and can therefore be made to your exact requirements and spaced to comfortably accommodate CD’s, DVD’s, books, photo albums and stereos.

Classic & Contemporary Freestanding Units

These units typically include a bookcase, with or without doors, above a low cupboard or cabinet. We offer a selection of designs that are ready built, in teak, oak and other hardwoods, and we can also custom-build any of our designs in dimensions to suit your space. Our classic range of freestanding units offers the combination of closed and open alcove shelving in a variety of styles. The lower fitted cupboard can be sized to accommodate all your TV and sound system peripherals, and your TV can sit also on top of the unit or if preferred can be concealed within it.

Our traditional alcove units typically include panelled doors, which we match to existing profiles and mouldings in your home. The doors are mounted on heavy duty concealed and adjustable hinges allowing for perfect alignment every time. We can also produce strong, fixed or adjustable shelving included within the main body. Traditional options also include a cornice top, side columns, and a small recessed plinth or skirting. For those who prefer a more contemporary design, we can make the door’s finishing as inconspicuous as possible with smooth flush fronts, push-click latches, and clean handle – free facades.

Bookcases

From collections of paperbacks to elegant leather-bounds we all build up much-loved collections of books; the challenge is how to display them in an attractive way! Our range of solid wood bookshelves come in a range of standard sizes and all designs can be built to custom sizes so suit your home’s dimensions. These are particularly good for homes where space is at a premium – as made to measure furniture will make the best use of the space available.
