Wildman- Home Interior Project
Home Interior Project
The concept behind the bespoke furniture that was created for Mr and Mrs Wildman started in the design centre of Puji Ltd. The couple where in the process of refurbishing their dining room and wanted to use Puji's bespoke furniture design service to create made to measure units to maximise space. A home consultation was arranged so that accurate measurements could be taken and to ensure that the dining room layout would blend in well with the rest of the home décor.
The couple had two alcove units in the dining room and as the space was not overly large it was decided that units would be built to provide open shelving combined with cupboard space. The top sections were designed to be artistic in form with different sized open compartments to display treasured ornaments. The lower cupboards were created with simple flush fronts and brushed nickel handles. These units were designed to be statement style pieces that would create a 'wow' factor in the couple’s dining area.
The next stage was to add a durable dining table and seating. A tapered leg 220 x 100 dining table was crafted from reclaimed teak to match the display unit and ensure the room flowed in design. Beautiful leather dining chairs with tapered legs completed the look.
Finally a handmade round mirror made from bamboo laid in resin, was hung in the room to add texture and reflect light. The end result was a beautiful and comfortable dining room.
