The concept behind the bespoke furniture that was created for Mr David Eliott started in the design centre of Puji Ltd. With the use of CAD software we created a live stimulation of the space, and experimented with furniture pieces to achieve the look and functionality desired by the client.
Following the design stage, four key pieces of furniture were chosen to complete the client's home. A coffee table was made for the living area, to work with the curved seating. This was made of natural materials (lava and teak) to create a contemporary modern feel. In the dining room, the client chose a solid teak table with matching teak slat chairs and added a coco stick mirror to complete the look, all built to dimensions to fit the room.
A custom-made unit was created to provide extra storage space in the clients very narrow hallway. And in the bedroom, the tallboy chest of drawers was designed to fit perfectly into the existing alcove, and create a striking contemporary feature.
The end result was a relaxing, tranquil design that flowed throughout the property. Following the completion of this project, the hallway unit was added to the main Puji range.
