Northwood Interior : Bespoke Furniture Design Project
When the Shah couple visited the Puji furniture store they had a clear idea of what they required. They wanted rustic reclaimed teak furniture items to complete their living room and most importantly they needed the furniture to fulfil the family’s storage requirements to hide away clutter. Four pieces were designed using our bespoke furniture design service.
Made to measure teak cubic dressers were designed to sit on opposite sides of the internal double doors that divided their living and dining room. Each dresser was designed in two sections (top and bottom). The bottom section provided ample cupboard storage with simple modern handles and the top section created a focal point, where the modular and artistic shelving sections could display the family’s photos and treasured ornaments.
A four section teak sideboard was also made to measure, to fit the available space perfectly. Closed cupboard sections were designed to house board games and gaming equipment whilst an open side section has adjustable shelves for DVD and book storage.
A small bookcase was made to fill a small alcove space and display the families photo albums. The adjustable shelving meant that the family could change the heights according to their needs to best utilise the storage.
The final piece was a modern three drawer unit which was to be used in the kitchen and provide more space for serving ware.
